The most popular item I make is cats. I would never have guessed it, but it's true. This is a blue cream ragdoll cat portrait. It was created to commemorate a kitty cat that has crossed the rainbow bridge. This piece was created around the same time as a portrait I did of a coon cat. You can see that piece by clicking here. Both were made using similar techniques including my signature, ultra-realistic eyes, crimping, and scrollwork.
This particular kitty had such a beautiful fluffy face that the crimping just really enhanced its appearance and made it come alive. And how can you not fall in love with her baby blue eyes? I had a ragdoll cat named "Kitty" once and she was so beautiful. She hated me. But I loved her. Now I have a cat that loves being against my body every chance she gets. Her name is Dame and I really love her to pieces except when she's murdering my sweet song birds. This is the worst part about owning a cat.
If you'd like to memorialize your own kitty cat or even own a portrait of one that is still living, you can request a custom cat portrait from my Etsy shop. Visit my shop and have your cat transformed into art. I can create any cat of any color and would love to have the opportunity to give you something special to remember your cat by.
The portraits are by far the most detailed artwork I make of cats, but if you're looking for something less expensive but still resembling your feline, check out my Original Scrollwork Cats. They will have similar colors to that of your cat, but not the facial details.
