My newest creation is this beautiful quilled white horse. I use the term "quilled" loosely, however, as it was actually made almost entirely with a comb (except the mane, that is). I plan to enter my quilled white horse in an art show and I'm hoping that people like it as much in person as they have over the internet. It'll be my first art show entry since I was a teenager, so I'm pretty nervous about it!
The horse took me about 35-45 hours to complete. There are literally hundreds of pieces - likely thousands - that went into the face alone. This was my first piece that was intended to utilize shading and for a first attempt, I am pleased with the results.
This piece is available for sale - both the original and high quality digital art prints.
