Scrollwork Chickadee with Sketching

I don’t usually photograph my work in frames because it’s kind of a pain to dig them out of their protective bags and then put them back in. I”m always worried that I’ll get a fingerprint on the background or something. And, in all honesty, it’s happened more than once. But I decided to put this guy in a frame and leave him there.

The body of the chickadee was made using scrolls to give the “impression” of the shape and colors of a Black-Capped Chickadee. I then sketched in his feet and a branch. The berry was made with a watercolor marker and sharpie.
