New Color Blend Vellum Paper Video Review
Quilled Creations recently announced that they’d added a new type of paper to their product lineup! How exciting is that? It’s called Color Blends. They describe them as a translucent vellum strip, approximately 12″ in length (about 5″ shorter than their solid colors), that blend from one color into another from one end of the strip to the other.
If you look at their shop page for these, they kind of look like a color spectrum. They come in six different shades so you’re sure to find one that meets your project’s needs.
The prices are $3.00/$4.50/$6.00 for the 1/8″, 1/4″, and 3/8″ paper, with each package containing 50 strips of 12″ long paper.
They are incredibly useful in that they allow you to create quills that gradually change color from the beginning to the end. This is something very new (at least to me) and the way they transition is simply beautiful. I am thinking up projects to use them in as we speak. I cannot wait to see how they look on a finished piece.
Please excuse the horrible videography. I had to stick my cellphone down my bra to get it to point in the right direction. And yes, I need a manicure! It’s hard to have beautiful nails when they are one of the major food groups! LOL
